A while back we took some community input on what directions folks would like to see PEX grow, and a huge number were interested in seeing laundry services!

We're a long way out from having the resources to provide that through PEX, but laundry is absolutely something folks can come together and help provide for ourselves and each other! If you're interested in seeing if this is a need we can address sooner rather than later, come hang out on Sunday at 4:00. We'll talk about what kind of options there are and see how much energy and capacity we've got to get something done.

You're absolutely encouraged to come out even if you don't feel like you have something to contribute, especially if access to free or cheap laundry is something your household personally needs. Usually the little things like asking folks to donate laundry detergent or committing to sitting at the 'mat sometimes are the biggest building blocks.

It doesn't take big time charities or activists, it takes people who need to do their laundry.
